If you want to dominate your opponents in JJS, you'll need to use the best characters. However, figuring out which characters are best by yourself will take hours of testing. So, we decided to help you out by doing the legwork ourselves. See the results in our ultimate Jujutsu Shenanigans tier list below.
In the tier list above, we ranked all the characters in Jujutsu Shenanigans based on their overall power and the number of winning matchups they have against other characters. Obviously, the S-tier characters are OP in most cases and will win most duels if both players are of equal skill.
However, know that even the bottom-tier characters can be useful as they might counter some other characters thematically. For more details on each character's strengths and weaknesses, see the section below. Also, visit the fandom Jujutsu Shenanigans wiki to see all the character's movesets.
Character | Pros & Cons |
---|---|
![]() Honored One | + Domain Expansion stuns all enemies for 14 seconds, allowing for easy kill farming + High damage on all moves and a lot of versatility(AoE, melee, ranged, CC, teleportation, etc.) + Hollow Purple can break any Domain except for Idle Death Gamble + One of the best characters in Jujutsu Shenanigans for 1vX situations – Awakening doesn't have melee moves, forcing you to use M1s if an enemy gets close – Fairly difficult to play, and most moves require good aim – Using Limitless drains your Awakening Bar, delaying you from using your Awakening |
![]() Strongest of History | + Extremely high damage and a lot of AoE in his base moveset + Can AoE one-shot with a bunch of its attacks + Short cooldowns and very good mobility and survivability + OP Domain Expansion that damages everyone on the map, destroys other Domains, and lasts for 20s + The strongest character in Jujutsu Showdown when it comes to 1vX situations – Only playable in Final Showdown, where you have 1 life and enemies have 6 – Doesn't have an Awakening; it's just a Domain Expansion – Bigger hitbox and sluggish animations – Specials/chants use your Awakening Bar |
![]() Restless Gambler | + Easy-to-do combos and a generally beginner-friendly character + Can reach the Awakening state fairly quickly and the Awakening lasts for a long time + OP Domain Expansion that can't be canceled, heals you, and gives you invincibility for a bit + Extremely good survivability and mobility during the Awakening – Virtually no mobility or block-breaks in its base moveset – RNG-based Domain Expansion – The passive HP regen is useless if you get one-shot – Characters with a lot of ranged and AoE moves can effectively kite you |
Character | Pros & Cons |
---|---|
![]() Vessel | + Easy-to-do combos and they deal a lot of damage + Most moves go right through block and also deal solid damage to Domains + Extremely rewarding if you can block/cancel enemy attacks well because of its Perfect Block/Counter passives + One of the best characters in Jujutsu Shenanigans for 1v1s during its Awakening – Lacking range and AoE in its base kit – Experienced players will know how to play around your M1 passives and moves with long windups – Most Awakening moves are blockable, and if you don't use Feint well, you'll be outplayed often – A lot higher skill floor compared to the Restless Gambler |
![]() Perfection | + Jack-of-all-trades + Most moves go right through block and deal solid damage + Vey good mobility and range + Has multiple ways of one-shotting enemies + Head Splitter is the best counter move in Jujutsu Shenanigans – No i-frames on base/normal Awakening moves – All attacks have high knock-back, making comboing difficult – Extremely high skill floor (not a beginner-friendly character) – No Idle Transfiguration during the Super Awakening |
![]() 10 Shadows | + You can use both your base and Awakening moves during your Awakening + Very good mobility and range on both base and Awakening moves + You can turn into Mahoraga, regaining your HP and gaining a new OP moveset – Very bad melee moves in its base kit – No i-frames, counters, and fairly bad survivability in general, especially if Nue and Rabbit Escape are on cooldown – Long cooldowns and sluggish animations on almost all moves – Fairly difficult to play, especially if you're a beginner |
![]() Switcher | + Most moves are unblockable, making you a menace at close range + Has the most mobility out of all characters in Jujutsu Shenanigans + Extremely good combo potential in its base moveset – Very high skill ceiling – Easily punished if you miss your moves – Bad combo potential during Awakening as all moves knock-back enemies – Hard to reach the Awakening, as Boogie Woogie consumes your Awakening Bar |
![]() Blood Manipulation | + Extremely good at kiting enemies from afar + Very good combo potential with multiple combo extenders and downslams in its kit + Very good range and AoE on moves during the Awakening – Countered by melee characters that can reliably gap-close to you – Requires a lot of skill and relatively good aim – A lot of moves drain your Awakening Bar, which you'll need to manage carefully |
Character | Pros & Cons |
---|---|
![]() Defense Attorney | + Very high base damage + Solid mobility and combo potential – Most moves can be easily blocked – Does not have an Awakening |
![]() Locust Guy | + Good base moveset with easy-to-chain attacks and high mobility + Awakening attack is unblockable and will one-shot most characters that have any missing HP – Long cooldowns mean you will have to rely on M1s for most of your damage – Hitting multiple people with the Awakening severely lowers its single-target damage – The Awakening is just one attack and if you miss it, it's literally useless |
