Created in 2001 under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and organized by the Maroc Cultures association, Mawazine is the unmissable event for amateurs and music enthusiasts with, in recent years, more than two and a half million spectators on average.
A privileged moment of discovery and sharing, the festival brings together every year in Rabat and Salé the big names of Arab, African and international music and the best artists of the Moroccan scene. As such, Mawazine represents a major springboard for Morocco musicians and singers, especially the young generations.
