Ahmad bin Hanbal (780 - 855 AD, 164 - 241 AH) [1] (Arabic أحمد بن حنبل) is an expert on Islamic hadith and theologian. He was born in Marw (currently named Mary in Turkmenistan, northern Afghanistan and northern Iran) in the city of Baghdad, Iraq. The chew of Abu Abdillah is complete: Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Hambal bin Hilal bin Asad Al Marwazi Al Baghdadi/ Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Hanbal is also known as Imam Hambali.
